Salary:

Lecturer Grade 7 currently £33,518 - £38,833 per annum

Senior Lecturer Grade 8 currently £39,992 - £47,722 per annum

(Appointment as Senior Lecturer will be considered should a suitable candidate come forward who has the relevant experience, skills and qualities to take on the responsibilities associated with an appointment at this level).

Applications are invited from enthusiastic and motivated candidates for a full-time Lectureship/Senior Lectureship in Law.  The post will involve you joining our team delivering the Legal Practice Course as well as contributing to the teaching and learning on our CILEx Higher Apprenticeships.  The successful candidate will also be expected to contribute to undergraduate teaching provision.

This is an exciting opportunity to join the Law department taking legal education and research forward within a new era of professional and qualification changes.  We are looking for an individual with a flexible and ‘can do’ attitude who can contribute towards the delivery of legal education as well as contributing to our emerging research agenda.  Expertise in the areas of business and commercial law, company law and employment law would be an advantage.

Appointment to grade will be determined on the basis of qualification and experience measured against the job specification, therefore the final job description will be confirmed on appointment.
