Description :

This is a new post working on initiatives and projects to support the development of employee relations, in line with the HR Strategy and University Strategic Plan.  The post will undertake activities relating to terms and conditions of service, formal consultation and negotiation processes, the impact of new and changing legislation, and promotion/grading processes.  

The successful applicant will have up to date knowledge of employment law developments and previous experience supporting employee relations activity in a complex, unionised environment.  You will also have good negotiation skills, and experience of preparing and presenting reports to senior managers with recommendations based on benchmarking and best practice.
