The University of West London is a leading modern University specialising in the education and development of connected creative, business and service professionals.

We are looking to recruit a highly motivated professional to join our Careers team.  Your tasks will include providing effective and timely advice and guidance to students and graduates; delivering employability through the curriculum and establishing productive partnerships with academic staff and other colleagues.

We are seeking individuals with excellent team, organisational and project management skills; able to deliver to deadlines and manage multiple activities. You will be a confident with exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, keen to apply innovative and creative approaches to careers work. You will also be able to demonstrate an understanding of the graduate labour market.

You will have a degree or equivalent, a relevant careers guidance qualification and experience of careers work in a higher education setting or a related field. Good interpersonal and organisational skills and the ability to work as part of a team are also essential.

This is a job share role, working 0.5FTE on Saturday mornings and 2 other days by negotiation.

A Standard DBS Certificate is required for this post (to be undertaken upon appointment).  Please find attached the University’s Criminal Convictions, Disclosure and Barring Policy and Procedure for further information.

Please be advised that it is expected that appointment within a grade will normally be at the minimum point.
