Applications are invited for the above post based in Hearing Sciences. This group is a thriving centre of research into how people use their hearing, how hearing impairment affects them, and how new technologies might help.

The successful candidate will assist and support the Principal Investigator in delivering an MRC programme grant on auditory perception and spatial hearing. The duties will include developing and conducting perceptual experiments, searching and distilling literature, carrying out data analyses and reporting results. 

Candidates must have a first or upper second-class honour degree in Psychology, Research Methods or a closely related subject area, experience of a research project testing participants in auditory, speech or vision sciences, especially in a perceptual experiment and some experience of participant- or patient-facing work. This post is full-time (36.25 hours per week), or part-time to a minimum of 29 hours per week and will be offered on a fixed-term contract until 31 March 2022. Applications for job share will be accepted
