Lecturer in Psychology (PSYCH067)

Psychology is currently the largest field within the School of Human and Social Sciences. We are a vibrant community which prides itself on the high level of student support that encourages students to succeed.

We are currently seeking a lecturer to join the Psychology Team on a part time basis. We are seeking applications from highly motivated candidates who will contribute across the psychology department and specifically to teach Biopsychology.

The ability to contribute to either Cognitive Psychology or Neuropsychology would be an advantage.

This is an exciting opportunity for suitably qualified candidates. The role holder must have relevant experience of working in the Higher Education Sector in Psychology. Additionally they should be able to work flexibly, work as part of a team and be prepared to support students in reaching their full potential. The successful candidate will be expected to contribute to course and curriculum development.  The post holder will be expected to be research active and to contribute to the research output, scholarship and enterprise of the department.

Please be advised that it is expected that appointment within a grade will normally be at the minimum point.
