Applications are invited for the above post based in the Division of Rehabilitation and Ageing.  

We are looking for a highly motivated and enthusiastic individual to act as lead administrator, in a very successful research-led and ever-expanding established Division.  The successful candidate will be responsible for all aspects of the routine day to day running of a busy department, as well as providing high quality PA assistance to the Head of Division and any other academic staff as required.They will be responsible for organising their own workload, and entirely proactive in troubleshooting, housekeeping, and providing general administrative assistance and advice to the Division as a whole.

The candidate will have proven organisational and administrative skills, and essential to the role candidates must have experience in University of Nottingham operating systems - for HR, financial and purchasing processes, etc, and these will form part of our selection criteria.

The candidate will have a good standard of education to HND/HNC level (or equivalent) plus GCSE Maths and English at Grade C or above.They will have excellent written and oral communication skills, be conscientious, time-efficient and thorough, flexible and helpful in their approach to all levels of staff, and able to work well under pressure when deadlines have to be met.

This post will be offered on a permanent contract. The hours of work are full time, 36.25 hours per week.Applications for job share may be considered for this post.
