The University of Bath is offering an exciting opportunity to work as part of an integrated Student services, offering a range of confidential, professional services to support students’ emotional and psychological well-being to enable successful engagement with and completion of their studies, contributing towards a more enriched student experience and to assist in preparation for and progression beyond University. The Counselling and Mental Health Team comprises of Student Mental Health Workers and Student Counsellors who work closely with other Student Service teams, Professional Services, Academic Departments, the University Medical Centre and external NHS services.
We are looking to appoint an Counsellor -Non Specific Modality on a part time basis (21.9 hours per week/0.6FTE), to be worked over 3 full days each week . The postholder will manage a clinical caseload, including clinical assessment, provide a range of time-limited therapeutic interventions, be actively involved in Emotional and Psychological Health Promotion, as well as undertaking cross institutional work with colleagues and students to support the development of personal resilience among our students. You will need to demonstrate your ability to work cooperatively with a professional team and to successfully manage projects in collaboration with a broad range of students and staff across the University.
