Description :
We are looking for a Postdoctoral Researcher for the project 'Ten Years Up: Self-regulation in progress (10YUP)'.

The objective of the project is to set-up a cohort of 1.000 young adults that allows studying self-regulation strategies over a period of 10 years and examine:
how the nature and frequency of self-regulation strategies develops during the critical period of young adulthood; to what extent the employment of self-regulation strategies is affected by environmental and personal factors; how such strategies affect critical choices about health and wellbeing. The cohort forms an essential basis for contributing novel insights in self-regulation with high theoretical as well as practical value. The set-up of this cohort involves the recruitment of participants, baseline registration and the design and testing of follow-up measures by a mobile app. A national advisory board will be installed to monitor the assemblage of the cohort and to advise on applications for secondary analysis of available data. The project entails a unique collaboration between Social Psychology (Utrecht University), Developmental Psychology (Tilburg University) and Public Health (UMC Utrecht). The Postdoc working on this project will be appointed at the Department of Social Health and Organizational Psychology at Utrecht University.
