An exciting opportunity has arisen to join a high performing team devoted to supporting learning and teaching within the School of Education.

In this role your primary responsibility will be to support the eportfolio system used by all University of Brighton Initial Teacher Training trainees to provide evidence towards achieving Teaching Standards.

You will work closely with members of the academic teaching team in creating eportfolio structures that support the trainees and guide them to successful completion.

Other tasks include organising the trainee accounts on the eportfolio system; working with learners in a variety of situations from one to one sessions to whole cohort lectures; demonstrating how the eportfolio system works; providing first line support for the system to learners, placement staff and university staff and liaising with pebblepad as issues arise and over future developments of the system.

You will possess experience of using a range of equipment and software, such as moodle, blackboard, wordpress, blogger or wikis, as well as be able to communicate accurately and appropriately to the message and audience, checking understanding, reading how a message is being received, and adapting communication style as necessary. You will need to be pro-active, flexible and solution orientated in your dealing with system users.
