This post is located within Lincoln International Business School, which became a separate College within the University in 2016. The Business School, located on the stunning modern campus in the heart of the historic city of Lincoln, is culturally diverse, internationally minded, and committed to providing an educational experience that enhances employability and enables people and businesses to create successful and responsible futures. The University of Lincoln is proud of its Gold status which it achieved in 2017 based on the Teaching Excellence Framework.

Continued success reflects the academic community, its values and collegiate working.  High quality undergraduate programmes are evolving to enhance research-engaged education; following the established ‘Student as Producer’ teaching and learning strategy. We have a portfolio of Master’s level programmes attracting international, UK and European students. The School is expanding its external income generation through corporate, executive and professional programmes, as well as through funded research, consultancy and international student recruitment. The Lincoln International Business School is ambitious to build on its achievements in the 2014 REF and its large doctoral programme by raising the standard of research output, increasing the number of research-active staff and making explicit the impact of its research on business and society.

The Tourism and Marketing Department deliver highly successful undergraduate, masters and doctoral programmes in International Tourism Management and Events Management, and re-launched the Sport Business Management programme in 2017. The team was highly commended in its 2016 Periodic Academic Review, has recorded outstanding student outcomes and established the Visitor Economy Research Group. Our undergraduate degrees have performed consistently well in the last 4 NSS and our Tourism Management degree is currently ranked in the top 5 of the country. The post holder will be joining a highly effective, progressive and collegial team.
