Applications are invited for the post of Specialist Technician (Instrumentation) within the Faculty of Engineering and the Environment.

You will be experienced in electronic construction, mostly signal conditioning for data acquisition and interfacing electronics with mechanical systems and control and data acquisition systems. As part of a team responsible for day to day electronics support in a teaching and research environment you will need excellent communication skills, be able to plan your workload and have the ability to work using your own initiative often to short deadlines. A previous H&S role would be advantageous.

You should also have Degree, HND, NVQ4 or equivalent qualifications in a relevant science/electronics discipline.
