Hours of work:                   From 21 to 35 per week (depending on individual availability)
Salary:                                Up to £12.91 per hour or £23,557 per annum (depending on experience)
Contractor Rate:                Up to £14.75 per hour for self-employed contractors
Duration:                            3 months, with a possible extension of up to 3 months depending on need
Starting:                             As soon as possible

An opportunity has arisen for an experienced finance professional to work within our Finance Department to support our day-to-day operations. Reporting to the Director of Operations, you will be responsible for bank reconciliation, control of our sales and purchase ledger and cash management. Duties include:

Processing of supplier invoices and allocating within the finance systemReconciling supplier statements with invoices, resolving differences on the purchase ledgerEnsuring appropriate internal authority on documents prior to processingReconciling bank accounts and dealing with discrepanciesInputting cash and bank transactions to the finance systemPreparing payment runsAssisting in the month end process

What are we looking for?

Candidates qualified at AAT Level 3 or above, or equivalent experienceProven experience of delivering day-to-day financial operations to an organisationExcellent interpersonal skills, with experience of liaising with external agencies and internal stakeholdersExperience of using Microsoft Excel and Sage 200Accuracy and attention to detailOrganised and able to prioritise day-to-day activities
