We are looking to hire an experienced and forward-thinking Careers Adviser to support our provision of one-to-one advice and guidance to undergraduate, postgraduate taught students and graduates.

Based in the Employability and Careers Centre, the post holder will also work closely with the other Careers Advisers and the wider team, developing suitable careers information resources to enhance the Centre’s website and dealing with daily enquiries from students, staff and employers.

We are looking for candidates who have knowledge and understanding of career development support and coaching for undergraduates and postgraduate taught students, ideally with experience in a Higher Education careers setting or similar.

The post holder should have significant experience of workshop design and facilitation, delivering presentations and career guidance. Knowledge of events and project management, stakeholder engagement and customer relations is also important.
