Full Time, Fixed Term Role - ending May 2019

If you have an interest in academic administration, we are offering an opportunity to get involved in the University’s Exams & Graduation team, part of the centrally based Student Services & Administration team. This is a full time, fixed term position (ending in May 2019) that will provide support to the Exams & Graduation Manager and the team responsible for Examinationsand Degree Ceremonies. You will assist with the day to day running of the University’s centrally organised examinations and class tests, including collation and packing of exam question papers for all three sessions of exams (during January, May/June and August) and with the organisation of the University’s degree ceremonies.

You will be based in the Assessment and Awards Section, but this role impacts across all three Faculties within the University.

A good team player, you will have administration experience, excellent interpersonal and organisational skills and a keen eye for detail. You will be required to operate with routine daily responsibilities within established processes and procedures with minimum day to day supervision. You will work closely with other Assessment & Awards staff and will liaise with other staff within departments across the University.

To be successful in this role you will have strong team skills, excellent IT skills and attention to detail.  SITS Database experience would also be an advantage although training will be provided.
