Maternity Cover / Fixed Term Contract - 0.5 FTE / 18 hours per week

The Department of Higher Education provides support for the academic community to achieve teaching excellence. We provide programmes and development opportunities, academic leadership, as well as strategic and pedagogic direction for the University.

This key position is responsible for establishing and delivering a professional administrative service that contributes to the operation of the Surrey Excellence in Teaching (SET) Framework. The post holder organises all internal SET associated events and maintenance of all records, to enable University of Surrey to meet the requirements of the Teaching Excellence Framework (TEF).

The post holder will organize and prioritise their work, communicating the Department of Higher Education’s internal Continuous Professional Development projects and events across the University. They will need to establish and maintain good working relationships with Faculties and central staff, including academic and professional services.
