Category: Professional | Faculty/Division: Library and Learning Resources | School: Library and Learning Resources | Department: Library and Learning Resources | Location: City Centre Campus | Post Type: Full Time | Closing Date: 02 Jul 2018 |   Birmingham City University (BCU) Library and Learning Resources (L&LR) is looking to recruit 2 professionally qualified Librarians. One will be based with the Collection Management Team, the other in the Learning, Teaching and Research Team. The former will be responsible for the development and management of resource collections within specified disciplines as well as the development and implementation of academic engagement strategies. The latter role will be responsible for the development and delivery of learning, teaching and research support services, including the provision of information literacy skills training for specific disciplines. Learning, Teaching & Resource Librarians are also responsible for academic engagement activities related to their area of responsibility. Librarians in both teams work collaboratively together and will have a number of shared responsibilities including the collection of statistical data related to activities in their areas, the development of training materials and contributing to L&LR’s quality assurance and project activities.
