Do you want to join a high profile successful fundraising team? Are you a highly organised individual? Do you have a keen interest in fundraising and are you passionate about managing and training students?
With an annual target of c£800k, raised mainly through direct mail appeals, telephone campaigns and leadership giving, the Footsteps Fund has over 14,000 donors, a recently expanded team and a dedicated student call team. The Footsteps Fund is part of the University’s Making a World of Difference Fundraising Campaign, which aims to raise £100m by 2020.
The fund provides scholarships to hundreds of undergraduate and postgraduate students, supports University research activity as well as a range of initiatives which enable all students thrive at Leeds regardless of their background or circumstances.
You will play a key role in enabling the Alumni and Development Team and the wider University to create and build relationships with donors, who are a crucial part of the long-term success of the University through supporting the development and implementation of fundraising practices.
As a Footsteps Fund Assistant, you will work with members of the Alumni and Development Team, and other areas of the University, to support the project management of multi-channel fundraising appeals and to thank and recognise those who give to the University of Leeds.
