The University of Brighton has an international reputation in the creative arts, and is seeking a creative marketer to work with the schools that are involved in the areas of architecture and interior design, visual communication, photography, film and screen, fashion and textiles design, 3D design and crafts, media, the humanities, and art and design history.

You will be based in the university’s Marketing & Communications team and split your time between this department and the schools you support, which cover the university’s campuses at Grand Parade, Falmer and Moulsecoomb.

The focus of the role is to support student recruitment, and raise the profile of the work of current students and staff so significant experience of the processes involved in the development of strategic marketing plans, campaigns and materials is required as well as a good, up to date understanding of online communications and marketing channels and their appropriate use within a marketing context.

With extensive experience of the marketing communications environment, you will also have experience of identifying and using appropriate methods of communication to communicate sensitive, complex or difficult information appropriately, and be able to maintain effective internal and external networks and collaboration.
