UK/EU Student Recruitment Intern (051718)

An opportunity has arisen for a full-time fixed-term appointment in the Recruitment and Admissions Directorate, working in the UK/EU Student Recruitment team. This post would be ideal for candidates looking to explore a career within Student Recruitment.   The post holder will contribute towards the University meeting its recruitment and admissions targets for UK/EU students by attending various recruitment focused events from UCAS Exhibitions to presenting to students and parents in schools and colleges throughout the UK with the possibility of some work in Europe. The role would also have involvement in organising and hosting on campus events and visits by students, parents and careers advisers.     In addition, the post holder will be responsible for maintaining office processes and dealing with enquiries, via phone and email from UK/EU prospective students.    The successful candidate will possess excellent communication skills, good IT skills and be customer focused. Previous experience within higher education and/or a recent graduate would be desirable.
