Due to the estate expansion a part time opportunity has arisen with-in the grounds maintenance team at Surrey University who have the responsibility for all the horticultural maintenance and up keep of the landscaping around the University estate including any related contract works. The successful candidate will join an award-winning team who maintain the University's beautiful estate.

In this role you will be required to work as part of the team that carry out the external litter clearance of the estate, in a part time role. There will also be opportunities to support other horticultural duties within the team. After the relevant training you will be expected to operate a limited range of grounds maintenance machinery and equipment in order to provide a high quality, cost effective service for the University.

Experience in an ornamental horticultural/ external estate management environment, are desirable. A full valid driving licence is an essential requirement for this role and candidates need to be physically fit to carry out the manual duties require for this position.
