Surrey CTU is an academic trials unit that has the experience, expertise and infrastructure to design, develop, organise and manage high quality multi-centre, randomised controlled trials (including trials of Investigational Medicinal Products).The CTU is part of theFaculty of Health and Medical Sciences, and is closely associated with Surrey Clinical Research Centre (CRC), an MHRA Phase I accredited centre with expertise in sleep/wake research. Both are situated on the University Manor Park site close to the main University campus.

We are looking for a Clinical Data Manager to be involved in all aspects of data management for a phase II oncology clinical trial managed by the unit.  This will include eCRF design and build, database testing and setup, training sites, query resolution, and QC of data.  The successful applicant will be responsible for ensuring that data is managed effectively and efficiently to the appropriate SOPs, regulations and guidelines governing clinical trial data. The role requires a sound knowledge of IT in particular MS Excel and Word and the ability to prioritise in order to meet demanding and often conflicting deadlines. The successful candidate will have a background in clinical research with at least two years data management experience in a clinical research environment and a good working knowledge of ICH GCP. 

The post is initially for a fixed term, with the contract due to end 30th September 2019.
