The post-holder will provide strategic leadership for the International Office’s operational functions with regards to a wide range of international partnerships, and international student mobility schemes, including Study Abroad and Erasmus+ (KA1 103 and 107). The role covers the area of project management. The post holder’s responsibility is to provide advice and expertise on the management for different types of international partnership initiatives developed by the University. This main focus is on increasing the effectiveness and efficiency of partnership operations through improvements to internal processes as well as coordination and communication with all stakeholders, including staff across the University, partner institutions and other relevant external organisations and professional bodies. The post-holder will also play a leading role in the development of an ambitious strategy for student international mobility and its promotion across the University. Excellent communication and organisational skills as well as high level of understanding of the development and management of international partnerships and funding schemes are essential. The job-holder should be able to work under pressure to meet deadlines and achieve positive outcomes. The successful applicant should be educated to degree level or equivalent.
