Would you like to join a dynamic team at the heart of delivering student education? Are you an enthusiastic and motivated team player who could support the day to day activities of the Patient | Carer Community (PCC) Team through the provision of high quality administrative support?


We are looking for a professional individual who possesses excellent organisational and communication skills to join our team and support colleagues in their role of delivering high quality student education. You will provide comprehensive administrative support to all members of the Patient | Carer Community (PCC) Team to help ensure the delivery of an exceptional student experience.


Together with the Patient and Public Involvement (PPI) Manager and the PCC Coordinator, you will contribute to the recruitment and support of patients and carers involved in medical education at the School of Medicine. These activities include supporting PCC involvement in research and innovation activities, and liaising with NHS colleagues who work with patient volunteers and more widely PPI networks regionally, nationally and internationally. This will enhance developments in teaching and research and help fulfil the requirements of the General Medical Council’s and other regulatory bodies.


This role represents an exciting opportunity for you to become an integral part of the PCC Team and to make a real contribution to the effective organisation and development of patient and carer involvement within the School of Medicine.
