Description :

You will join our pool of mentors offering individual support for students to gain equal access to their studies by providing guidance with non-subject specific study skills such as developing organisational skills, managing workloads and time management, as well as maintaining academic progress.

You will have proven and demonstrable experience of working individually with adults with mental health difficulties, Asperger syndrome, autism and/or other disabilities, as well as a high level of analytical and problem solving ability.

We require mentors at our Brighton and Eastbourne sites and ideally mentors will be able to commit to a minimum of two days a week, providing regular and consistent support. Each mentoring session will consist of mentoring and preparation work.

*PLEASE NOTE due to government legislation all mentors must have membership of certain professional bodies so we cannot accept applications from those that do not meet this criteria.
