The Academic Quality Office directs and leads on all matters relating to the management and assurance of academic quality and standards across the University and its Academic Partnerships, advising and guiding staff and students on the implementation of regulations and quality assurance systems and procedures and the monitoring of their effectiveness.

The Senior Quality Officer – Monitoring, Evaluation and Externality is required to lead the University’s arrangements for the safeguarding of academic standards and quality assurance by ensuring effective and efficient monitoring, evaluation of courses, schools and academic partners. To achieve this they will ensure currency across of the university’s processes, deliver training and support to all relevant stakeholders, and will monitor the effectiveness of external engagement in these processes.

The Senior Quality Officer – Monitoring, Evaluation and Externality will facilitate meaningful evaluation, subsequent data analysis and report writing as related to the areas of responsibility. 

The successful candidate will possess extensive knowledge of the UK Higher Education sector, and particularly experience of monitoring, evaluation and working with academic and professional experts external to the institution.

The successful candidate will also be experienced in supporting a range of quality assurance events, as well as delivering training to academic and non-academic staff alike. Outstanding recording keeping, organisational skills and project management are attributes critical to the position. 

With the Elizabeth line opening shortly we will be even more accessible, with Ealing 42 minutes away from Reading and 24 minutes from Liverpool Street.
