The Library is a key academic support department in the University, providing students and staff with flexible, responsive services which underpin teaching, learning and research.

We are looking for a Library Assistant to join our busy Customer Services team, working in the Evening and Weekend team. The successful candidate will contribute to the delivery of consistent, efficient and courteous customer services, including assistance with self-service and lending support, re shelving returned items and first line IT, directional and information enquiries. You will have previous experience of working in a library, preferably in a higher education environment, and have excellent customer services skills, together with a good knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, including Word and PowerPoint.

This post is for Wednesday and Thursday evening 7pm - midnight.

The post-holder will work as part of the Customer Services team.

The post-holder will report to the Library Team Leader (Evenings & Weekend).
