Located in the beautiful city of Lincoln and well connected to businesses in the area, Lincoln International Business School is a growing and ambitious school with an internationally diverse student body and a set of programmes ranked highly in the National Student Survey. The School is investing in research and enterprise seeking to enhance its role as a hub with both local and global connections. The Business School occupies a custom designed building close to the railway station with modern learning spaces for students, a specialist facility for corporate education, and flexible spaces to support collaborative research. 

Academics within People and Organizations have an international outlook and a commitment to both teaching and research in the field. The multicultural team contributes to a number of programmes across the Business School, and has varied research interests including cross-cultural workforces, human resource management, change management, international mobility, gender in management, migrant workers, inclusion and diversity.

We are seeking to make an appointment at either Reader or Principal Lecturer level; candidates should state which profile they are applying for. In aiming to build on strengths within our academic teams we are looking for candidates who:

Are passionate about their subject and delivering research engaged teaching Have an academic profile which complements and strengthens our existing expertise. Build relationships with external communities and practitioners Produce outputs and create impact in our next REF submission Collaborate with other researchers at the University and actively seek external funding to support their research  

You will have the opportunity to work in a stimulating, interdisciplinary and collegiate environment. We support excellence in research and teaching and you will be part of a team that provides a popular portfolio of qualifications at undergraduate and postgraduate levels. You will be actively engaged in research, publishing in high quality journals in leadership and related disciplines, and have experience of PhD supervision.
