The Agent Relations Manager will play a key part in managing and developing important client relationships, with contracted partners (agents) in more than 50 countries worldwide. The role is based within the International Student Recruitment team and will report to the Head of Agent Relations. The position involves the coordination of a small team responsible for supporting the University’s Agent partners, regular liaison with key clients, collaborative work with internal stakeholders, important administrative duties, and participation in both creative and policy driven strategic initiatives. 

The role will involve the oversight of workload, the development of efficient and lean processes and the use of problem solving skills to support two Agent Relations Assistants and ensure a smooth Admissions experience for agent based applicants. The Agent Relations Manager and Agent Relations Assistants will be expected to contribute to the development of key stakeholder relationship management and initiatives to strengthen engagement and client support. The position requires a strong analytical approach to both qualitative and quantitative information, to aid the development of agent relationships and cover responsibilities such as quarterly performance analysis, the identification of training needs and reviews of client feedback, to aid the Head of Agent Relations with strategic change.

The position will also offer the opportunity to be involved in contract management, policy creation and project work at a strategic level with the Head of Agent Relations.

This position will require some local and overseas travel, and a significant amount of regular contact and communication with clients. Such activities will include both scheduled and ad hoc meetings and training sessions, using Skype or equivalent platforms. Outstanding customer service delivery, a personable approach and a drive for speed and quality is key to this role.

The role holder will be required to work closely with colleagues in Schools and Departments, and Professional Services to ensure the University is promoted effectively to a global agent network. This will involve the development of robust communications and marketing channels, with a tailored and client driven approach to promotion. 

Teamwork is essential to the successes of the International Recruitment Team and working closely with other teams during busy periods will be required.
