Description :

We are looking for a Research Associate/Fellow, whose expertise lies in computational modelling of flow through porous media, to work with with Dr. Matteo Icardi (Mathematics), and collaborators at the GeoEnergy Research Centre (Dr. Bagus Muljadi, Dr. Veerle Vandeginste) on the EU H2020 funded project entitled "SECURe: Subsurface Evaluation Of Carbon Capture And Storage And Unconventional Risk". The central aim of the project is to develop model reduction and data assimilation strategies for porous media flow models, able to predict and mitigate risks related to the CCS technologies.

We believe that talented and inclusive teams deliver the highest quality research and are seeking applications from high quality candidates who enhance the diversity of our existing team. The School is committed to creating opportunities for people traditionally under-represented in Mathematical Sciences.
