The School of Computing and Digital Technologies at Staffordshire University is recruiting an Academic Practice Leaming Manager to lead and manage a range of practice-based learning within the School and across the School’s Departments (Computing; Film, Media and Journalism; Games and Visual Effects) and in doing so raise Staffordshire University's profile locally and nationally in respect of learning provision.

The successful candidate will act as an ambassador for the University, effectively liaising and working with established and new partner organisations, to ensure that the provision of practice -based learning opportunities is cutting edge and meets current and future workforce plans.

You will be responsible for the strategic development, provision, and quality assurance of all practice-based learning within the School, including apprenticeships, placements, Knowledge Transfer Partnerships, and enterprise funding opportunities. This will include leadership of the School’s involvement in a European Structural Investment project designed to grow the region’s digital economy.

A sound working knowledge of quality and professional regulatory processes related to both practice- based learning provision and inter-professional education is essential for this post.

The successful candidate will be enthusiastic, innovative, flexible and committed to ensuring an excellent and supportive staff and student experience.
