We are looking for a confident and creative internal communications professional to join our communications team in one of the UK’s top research-led universities.

This is a key role to facilitate the central internal communications for the University. This role will focus on providing top level content and communications advice to a variety of staff and stakeholders. You will need good writing skills, flexibility and be able to work to tight deadlines. You will be comfortable working with people on all levels and have the ability to handle sensitive and confidential information. 

A keen news sense would be ideal as well as experience of working with a number of communications channels. This role will involve a number of digital applications and so a good technical ability is a must. You will be part of a wider communications team and so must be amiable and able to work well with others.

The contract is for one year in the first instance to cover maternity leave.
