Applications are invited for the above post based in Glasgow at the MRC/CSO Institute of Hearing Research (Scottish Section). This group is a satellite of the University of Nottingham’s School of Medicine, and is a thriving centre of research into how people use their hearing, how hearing impairment affects them, and how new technologies might help.
Candidates must have a degree or equivalent in Psychology, Research Methods or a related subject area, experience in implementing online or smartphone-based surveys, and some experience of patient or client-facing work in a clinical, service or research context.
Additional desirable criteria include experience in carrying out longitudinal studies; technical software (eg. Matlab, SPSS) and experience of working with the elderly or disabled.
This post is available immediately and will be offered on a fixed-term contract for a period of 2 years. The post is full-time (36.25 hours/week), but is also open to applicants wishing to work part-time (to a minimum of 80% FTE).
