This new role has been created as part ofthe University’s commitment to developing all leaders and managers across the University. It provides an exciting opportunity for you to build on your existing organisational development or management development career, and will allow you to lead on the design, development and implementation of integrated approaches to the development of academic, technical and professional services managers. As a University that is continuing to develop, now is also a great time to be working across the University supporting the growth of new leaders and managers through succession planning and high potential talent development.

Working closely with the Leadership and Management Director, the priority for this post is on the development of leadersand managers across the University. Key areas of focus include:

- Taking a multi-dimensional approach to management development, recognising the varied personal and professional learning and development needs of our diverse workforce.

- Designing and delivering personal and professional management development programmes using blended and work-based learning approaches.

- Designing and implementing strategic and operational approaches to succession planning and the development of high potential talent supporting future leaders and managers.

- Understanding and improving the impact and return on investment of learning and development activities for leaders and managers across the University.
