The Faculty of Computing, Engineering and the Built Environment (CEBE) has two schools and is based in the heart of our thriving city at the state of the art Millennium Point. In CEBE we pride ourselves on having a strong focus on internationalisation and over the last 5 years have developed a number of overseas transnational partnerships to support students in gaining qualifications that are recognised internationally, this is at both undergraduate and postgraduate level. We are seeking a professional, people-focussed, quality-driven and highly organised individual to join our team. The successful candidate will manage the administration of the student lifecycle for a portfolio of our transnational partners and their students. This will involve working with higher education providers all over the world including Sri Lanka, Vietnam, India and China. The role This role is ideal for an experienced administrator with a background in higher education and ideally with experience of working with overseas partners and broader transnational education (TNE) activities. This is an excellent opportunity to build on the relevant experience you already have gained by building effective and positive relationships with a wide range of external stakeholders by providing a high quality, efficient and effective administrative support for overseas students in collaboration with our overseas partner institutions. Responsibilities include; agreeing and establishing delivery plans for the academic year ahead, ensuring timely enrolment of students, maintaining student records, providing expert advice in line with the University regulations and policies, preparing and delivering Examination Boards in line with the academic calendar, establishing regular review meetings with academic colleagues and partner institutions, contributing to the quality requirements of the partnership in line with the QAA, being a member of and actively contributing to select Faculty committees. Relationship building will be key to your success as you will be working closely with the Associate Dean International, Director of International Partnerships, Director of Faculty Administration, colleagues at our partners, Link Tutors, and External Examiners.  The person You will need a degree level education (or equivalent experience) alongside proven administrative, IT and customer service experience within a Higher Education setting and preferably a transnational education setting. Experience of working with and managing the administrative and operational processes associated with the student lifecycle is essential as is having a commitment to seek opportunities for continuous improvement. Beyond that, your ability to influence and negotiate, to proactively manage your own workload and your excellent interpersonal skills will be what sets you apart.
