Teachers will help students to improve their English language and academic skills in order to meet the entry requirements of their degree programmes at BCU. Alongside class teaching, a teaching fellow will be expected to mark student work, assist in materials and test production, and help with the administration of the presessional courses.       A successful applicant will possess a relevant Master’s degree (TEFL, Applied Linguistics, Education) and teaching qualification (DELTA/CELTA), as well as substantial experience teaching on presessional courses, teaching English as a foreign language overseas, and working with international students in the UK.  As part of your application please prepare a 90-minute lesson plan on the topic of ‘Using academic sources’, an introductory lesson designed to help B1 learners understand how to use academic sources to support their ideas with essays/reports.
