We deliver BSc (Hons) and PgDip Nursing (Mental Health) courses across Berkshire and London and have a wide ranging CPD provision. We partner with a large number of mental health organisations; NHS Trusts in both London (West London Mental Health Trust – incorporating Broadmoor Hospital, Central and North West London NHS Foundation Trust) and Berkshire (Berkshire Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust) and private, voluntary and independent sector organisations.

Senior Lecturer

As a Senior Lecturer you will be responsible for leading the development, management and delivery of high quality, engaging mental health nursing modules and courses. You will also contribute mental health expertise to our wider provision i.e. Midwifery, Operating Department Practice, Health Promotion and Public Health, CPD, Nursing Associates and Assistant Practitioner courses.

As a member of the academic team, you will assist in the development of the professional, academic, research and scholarly profile of mental health nursing in CNMH. You will also support learners and mentors in clinical practice.

You will hold a Masters degree in Nursing or relevant healthcare subject, current registration with the NMC as a Mental Health Nurse and a teaching qualification.

You will have significant clinical experience in mental health nursing. You will have experience of delivering mental health education in a UK higher education setting and ideally have experience of curriculum development and use of innovative, evidence-based approaches to support teaching and learning.

Lecturer

As a Lecturer you will participate in/contribute to the delivery and continuing development and integration of mental health, within modules and/or courses (pre-registration and CPD), offered by the College of Nursing, Midwifery and Healthcare. This will encompass Nursing, Midwifery, Operating Department.

Practice, Health Promotion and Public Health, Nursing Associates and Assistant Practitioner courses.

As a member of the academic team, you will assist in the development of the professional, academic, research and scholarly profile of CNMH. You will also support learners and mentors in clinical practice.

You will hold a first degree in Nursing or relevant healthcare subject and current registration with the NMC. A teaching qualification is desirable but not essential.

You will have significant clinical experience in mental health nursing. You will have experience of teaching and assessment in a clinical or higher education setting.

Delivery on healthcare organisation sites across Berkshire and London may also be required occasionally.
