Senior REF Manager (Strategy and Delivery) (EL1145)

The University of Lincoln, ranked 22nd in the 2018 Guardian University Guide, is seeking to appoint a Senior REF Manager (Strategy and Delivery) to lead in developing the institutional submission to REF2021 and beyond. This is an exciting opportunity to shape the research culture and strategy of an institution which puts excellent research with impact at the core of its activities.

First hand experience of substantially contributing to prior REF preparations is essential, together with experience in leading and managing complex projects in a Higher Education context. Substantial experience in analysing and presenting data for different audiences, including a senior leadership audience, is also needed.

The post holder will lead the REF team and work closely with the Deputy Vice Chancellor for Research and Innovation and other senior academics across the institution. It is therefore essential that the post holder is able to develop strong and productive working relationships with academic and professional staff across all levels of the organisation. 

The right candidate should be a strategic thinker and a great organiser and problem solver.
