The University of Lincoln is committed to growing Higher and Degree Apprenticeships across a range of vocational areas to include Food Manufacturing, Health and Social Care, Leadership and Management and Engineering and we wish to appoint a key individual to coordinate administrative processes for apprenticeships across the University. The University’s administrative base for apprenticeship is the National Centre for Food Manufacturing and the post holder will help roll out apprenticeships practice from NCFM to the wider University. Reporting to the Deputy Head of NCFM and working closely with the Director of DVC Projects, the post holder will work with Heads of Schools, Directors of Professional Services and their teams across the University to embed standard University practice for apprenticeship provision. 

The post holder will largely manage their own time and determine priorities in order to achieve the required output and they will be an experienced administrator with excellent communication and project management skills. Many aspects of apprenticeship provision are still developing and the post holder must have the ability to cope in a dynamic and fast changing environment. The post will provide a secondment opportunity for an internal staff member based at the Brayford Campus but regular travel to NCFM will be a feature of the role.
