The post is located in the International Centre for Corporate Social Responsibility (ICCSR). The ICCSR team engages in research and teaching in the following broad areas: strategies for CSR; business ethics; social and environmental accountability; CSR and governance; managing for sustainability and sustainable finance. It adopts an interdisciplinary approach and has an international focus.Specialist programmes available through the ICCSR include an MBA in CSR, an MSc in Sustainability Studies, and a PhD programme.

Applications are invited for the position of Associate Professor in Sustainability/Environmental Justice based in the Management Division of Nottingham University Business School. The person appointed will be expected to engage in high quality research and to contribute to teaching on the range of programmes offered by the School at both undergraduate and postgraduate level. They will also be required to make an appropriate contribution to administration.

Candidates should have a PhD (or equivalent) in a relevant area, together with significant teaching experience in relevant subjects at HE level. They should have excellent communication and presentation skills and the ability to teach at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels in relevant subjects across Sustainability/Environmental Justice.  A sustained track record of high quality publications in the area of Sustainability/Environmental Justice and the ability to produce high quality research in a relevant area is also required. Candidates should have the ability to develop their own research area, the flexibility to collaborate with colleagues and the ability to work well in a team.
