The University of Southampton is committed to increasing opportunities which allow its students to develop an enterprising mind-set and their entrepreneurial capabilities. 

We are looking for an enthusiastic Customer Services Advisor to join our Student Enterprise team, within Careers & Employability, to support the delivery of our programme of enterprise activities. As the Student Enterprise Team’s first point of contact by phone, email and in person for students, employers and other stakeholders, your role will be as an ambassador for the service, ensuring that all customers are taken care of appropriately and that a strong business image is projected.

Working in Student Services, one of the largest Professional Services departments in the University, you will be responsible for supporting our highly successful Student Enterprise Programme, therefore experience in event coordination and utilising a variety of communication tools for marketing and promotion would be an advantage. You will also be expected to provide information to University of Southampton students and customers, and maintain and develop our website www.soton.ac.uk/studententerprise. You will also support the delivery of other enterprise and entrepreneurship activity across the University.

You will possess excellent customer service and time management skills, have a strong attention to detail combined with superior organisation and communication skills (both written and verbal).  A good understanding of the Microsoft Office suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook). This post presents a unique and exciting opportunity for an efficient and exceptionally motivated individual who enjoys working in a fast paced environment and is keen to play a key part in developing a programme of activity for students.

Interviews are scheduled for Monday 10th September 2018 and will consist of an assessment centre in the morning with successful candidates called back for shortlisting in the afternoon.
