We are seeking a part-time 0.6 FTE (22 hours per week) Course & Finance Administrator to join our busy Operations Team. The Operations Team plays a key role in providing administrative support to the main areas of the Skills Centre’s work including our foreign language course provision, co-curricular academic skills programme and English language proficiency for international students. 

The successful candidate will work alongside other Course Administrators to carry out administrative processes for students enrolled on foreign language courses. S/he will be responsible for financial processes in this context, will provide direct administrative support to the Language Learning Zone in addition to providing PA support to the Head of Foreign Languages.

Candidates for this post should have relevant experience from IT-intensive administrative posts. A high level of IT skills (Microsoft Office packages such as Word and Excel) as well as experience with databases is essential. The role requires a well-organised, motivated and conscientious candidate with high levels of attention to detail to ensure the maintenance of accurate records and systems, excellent interpersonal and communication skills and experience of delivering first-class, high quality customer service. You will need to be confident at working independently, but also be a strong team player, able to work well under pressure at all times.

The successful candidate will be working in a busy and lively office in a fast-developing Centre. Training and development will be provided, where appropriate. This position is fixed term for 12 months.
