The International Relations Office (IRO) is offering an exciting opportunity for a dynamic, engaged and highly-organised individual effectively administer and develop outgoing mobility opportunities for students and staff.

Working within a small team in the IRO and reporting to the International Mobility Manager, the International Mobility Coordinator (Outgoing) is responsible for supporting a wide range of mobility activities. Tasks include coordinating and administering all aspects of the of the Erasmus+ grants for both students and staff, and promoting mobility activities and opportunities to the University community, all while ensuring effective information management to support reporting and planning.

The position offers opportunities for professional training and development, as well as some travel within the UK and overseas. 

To be successful in this role, you will have relevant administrative experience in a customer- or client-focused environment, with strong administration and communication skills, and outstanding attention to detail. You will have the ability and confidence to interact with diverse stakeholders, and an ability to remain calm under pressure. Previous experience working or studying in an international context is an advantage. The post holder will be required to work with a high level of autonomy.

There are three International Mobility Coordinators and while each role focuses on a specific aspect of work, all coordinators may be required to support other aspects of the activities of the team from time to time (in the case of this role, the other aspects are incoming international student mobility and exchange partnerships).

This position is full time (36.5 hours per week)
