Part Time NERUPI Development Officer - Fixed Term Contract (CT6042)

The Network for Evaluating and Researching Widening Participation Interventions (NERUPI) framework provides a rigorous yet flexible approach to assessing the impact of widening participation and equity initiatives, a key priority for the HE Sector. The Framework has been trialed in several universities and the aim of this post is to open up the opportunity for other HEIs to benefit from its application.

We are looking for an enthusiastic and adaptable person with expertise in evaluating WP activities and an interest in innovative methodologies. As well as having a good understanding of widening participation policy and practice the person appointed will need excellent communication, interpersonal and organisational skills. The main areas of work are: advising members on applying the Framework to their activities; updating the website including the members only area; organising workshops and seminars; supporting the  community of practice; managing network administration.An interest in applying for and delivering collaborative research and evaluation in the area of widening participation is highly desirable.

This post is a part time role of 21.9hrs per week (0.6FTE) and is being offered on a fixed term contract basis with an anticipated expiry date of 31 July 2019.
