Are you enthusiastic about teaching the Doctors of tomorrow? Are you passionate about primary care and would you like to use your knowledge and skills to inspire the next generation of GP’s? Do you want to further your career in one of the UK’s leading Universities? 

As a Clinical Teaching Fellow with support you will undertake an important teaching role within the Academic Unit of Primary Care, drawing on your clinical experience to underpin and carry out teaching and work closely with colleagues to design, develop and evaluate teaching materials. 

Being clinically active, you will contribute to the delivery of up to date, educational programmes responsive to the needs of the current and future primary care workforce, as well as developing educational scholarship relevant to the Academic Unit of Primary Care.

This post is funded by Health Education England (Yorkshire & Humber) to encourage early career General Practitioners with an interest in student education to develop their skills in an academic environment. It is open to applicants in their first 3 years post qualification (post CCT). 

You will be expected to work 8 sessions per week (4 clinical, 4 teaching).
