The University of West London (UWL) provides a full and diverse range of learning alongside strong professional connections and impactful applied research. A new role of Head of Learning and Organisational Development has been created within the HR department reporting to the Director of Human Resources and Organisational Development. The role is essential in order to grow a learning culture as well as support a wider need to develop greater awareness and activities including leadership development; high performance culture; engagement; change management activity and diversity.

We would like someone that has a real understanding of these diverse topics, is willing to form ideas and solutions that are targeted, are the correct fit and has skills to deliver these agendas in an informed and influential way.

The role will be supported by a Learning and OD Partner and a Co-ordinator, as well as have input and support from the wider HR department.

Candidates should have the relevant experience for this role, degree qualified and hold a CIPD accreditation (or equivalent). Although education sector experience is not an essential prerequisite, candidates should a committed to the values of higher education.
