For this role we are seeking a candidate to work within the Knitted Textiles pathway of the Fashion and Textile Design programme, which is a vibrant part of a thriving Undergraduate course. This role will complement our existing Technical Services team.

 To be successful you will have in-depth knowledge and expertise in the field of knitted textiles and experience of working with a range of equipment such as Dubied knitting machines, industrial linkers, overlockers and domestic knit machines. Candidates will have experience of working in a busy environment and excellent communication, organisational and inter-personal skills. You must be able to demonstrate that you can work accurately and within relevant policies and procedures.  

Candidates should have an aptitude for problem solving and assisting students in realising their design vision. 

This post is for 28.8 hours per week; to be split between Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday.
