Research and Innovation Development Officer/Manager in Healthcare Technologies (ENGFO1115)

Are you an experienced and ambitious Research and Innovation Development Professional looking to further your career in one of the UK’s leading research intensive universities? Would you like to help progress engineering and healthcare technology research and innovation opportunities? Are you a confident leader capable of building excellent working relationships with academic colleagues? 

We are looking for a professional and proactive individual to work alongside both the Faculty of Engineering’s Research and Innovation Service (ERIS), who support academics across the Faculty of Engineering, and Institutes within the Faculty, such as the Institute of Medical and Biological Engineering, who support nationally leading research and innovation in medical technologies. You will play a key role working alongside other Faculty-based support to develop new interdisciplinary opportunities for Engineering and Healthcare Technologies research and innovation that will maximise research impact and external income. You will identify new national and international funding and impact opportunities and support academic staff to develop successful inter-disciplinary research and innovation proposals.

If you are appointed at University of Leeds grade 7, a personal development plan will be put in place, which is anticipated to run over a three-year timescale. On satisfactory completion of this plan, you will be in a position to advance to University of Leeds grade 8.
