About You 

Experience with either qualitative or quantitative research is essential in this role. You will have expertise in designing and conducting small and large-scale policy reviews and evaluations for external partners in the public policy arena. Knowledge and experience of conducting systematic reviews, rapid reviews or other forms of evidence synthesis will be particularly beneficial.

You will have experience of bid writing for submission to public tenders and will have relevant project management skills. You will have a record of some income generation from external sources and should be at post-doctoral level with a developing record of peer reviewed publications.

About the Role 

This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a new team at Edge Hill University’s Policy Evaluation and Analysis Unit. The post holder will have responsibility for undertaking evaluation studies in the field of public policy. You will be familiar with one or more public policy fields (education, health and social care, justice system, employment, housing) and have proven knowledge of a variety of evaluation methods and methodological approaches.
