Senior Teaching Fellow/Teaching Fellow (CC6066)

The University of Bath School of Management, one of the UK’s leading business schools, is seeking to appoint a Senior Teaching Fellow or Teaching Fellow to join the Information, Decisions and Operations Division (http://www.bath.ac.uk/research-groups/information-decisions-and-operations-division/),

You will have teaching interests in one or more of the following areas:
• Operations and Supply Chain Management
• Project Management
• Information Systems
• Business Analytics

The Division’s teaching portfolio includes specialist MSc programmes in Operations, Logistics and Supply Chain Management, Business Analytics, Engineering and Business Management, and Innovation and Technology Management, as well as a range of specialist and non-specialist undergraduate units. Members of the IDO Division are also involved in a range of Executive Development offerings.

The successful candidate will have excellent proven teaching ability, preferably linked to industry/consulting experience. We are looking for candidates who are passionate about the student experience and who are willing to share and enthuse others about pedagogical development. Experience of managing distance-learning programmes would be desirable.

The IDO division is a globally influential group of researchers and teachers. Our research areas include supply chain management, manufacturing and service operations management, operational research, forecasting and mathematical modelling, human aspects of cybersecurity and information systems, and computational social science/data analytics, with a core focus on applying inter-disciplinary insights to tackle significant, real-world, business and social challenges.

The University of Bath is situated on a modern campus surrounded by attractive countryside overlooking the centre of Bath, a UNESCO-designated World Heritage City. It is a safe and friendly campus with excellent sports facilities. Bath is easily accessible by air, road and rail and located only 100 miles west of London.
