Working within a team of technical staff, you will provide frontline technical support for undergraduate and postgraduate classes in the Veterinary Pathology Centre. You will provide advice and solutions for routine day-to-day problems in the specialist technical areas in which they are familiar and make recommendations for improvements in the efficiency of this service.

Previous technical experience in commercial or research pathology is essential. Key to your role, you must be skilled and experienced in anatomy dissection of various species. Key to this role is to support the Veterinary Pathology Centre’s undergraduate teaching classes, experience in supporting large classes is desirable. Within the role from time to time providing support to our pathologist when they are performing necropsies maybe asked of the Senior Anatomy Technician.

Working within University guidelines and procedures, you will instruct and demonstrate safe working practices on the use of specialist equipment.

We are looking for a highly motivated, organised senior technician to join the school of veterinary medicine, who is eager to learn new skills within pathology.
